Considering that you will be supervising this extra child around water (where liability can be much higher), I say add an extra five dollars per hour.

If it's just bringing another kid along that will reciprocate in other ways, it's a playdate. So if you are driving another kid to baseball practice every tuesday, then maybe sometimes that kid will invite your kid over for a playdate on a different day and you won't have any kid to watch. It all evens out. My nanny sometimes has a whole carpool of kids and sometimes has no kids with her when both of mine are at activities or playdates. I'm sure sometimes it feels more fair than other times, but it also comes out in the wash, as they say. |
That is not a playdate. Also-you make your nanny responsible for an entire car full of kids? Kids that aren't yours? I can see why you'd be confused. |
