When there are three kids, they'll entertain each other. The sitter just supervises. Maybe makes meals when they involve the stove, or gets things on high shelves down. One kid is a lot more work. |

| I make $25/hr for 2 kids, I'd start there and ask if she's ok with it for 3. Since it's not her main job she likely won't have a real set rate, but $25 is fair. |
| 25 per hr is ridiculous. 10-15 is fine. If she says no she doesn't need the money that bad. I'm a nanny with years of experience and I charge 10 |

I babysit for a family with three kids (similar ages).
I charge $18 per hour. |
depends on the kids. Sometimes they fight and get into trouble too. Then that's a ton more work. |
You are nuts. |

My friend is not a nanny. This would be done on the side of her actual job, as a way for her to make some extra cash. That's why she doesn't have a price ready to quote.
A PP recommended $15 per hr/ $200 day minimum. But $15/hr for 9 hours = $135. I was thinking of offering her $300 for the 2 days, plus obviously food, etc. Thanks for all the input. |
I think that sounds perfect OP. |
| I'm in the Bay Area in california and I am paid with SOME families up to $20/hr for one or two kids, so that's not an insane amount. More often it is $16-18 though. 3 kids I would definitely ask $19-20. If you think that's a lot though, maybe try $16-17? |
