Food for the nanny? RSS feed

My nanny always ate whatever she liked. We also encouraged her to add things to the grocery list that she wanted. She didn't take advantage of this much, but I liked being able to have some of her favorites around.

My family allows me to eat whatever they have in their house, but I don't expect them to buy things specifically for me. I have celiac disease, and sometimes my MB will tell me she bought a gluten free product that I can try, but she doesn't buy those things specifically for me. My charge is allergic to a lot of things, and most foods free of his allergens happen to be GF as well. She will also make GF baked goods for us to snack on.

OP here - thank you for the replies. I did not mean to convey resentment in my question and I blame it on lack of sleep with a new baby, while transitioning back to work .

Thank you for your replies. I agree that this issue is being driven by my MIL which is why I asked for opinions via the site. I've started to stock more of the foods that she seems to like to eat. Also, every day that I've been out I've asked her if she wanted me to pick her up whatever I was eating.

Thank you for all of the great replies!
