I would opt for an older nanny OP. 18-19 yr olds are much too young to really care for children. They just do not have the maturity and life experience needed to take on such responsibility.

Please don't generalize. By 18-19 I had years of babysitting under my belt. When I was 16-17 I regularly watched infant triplets after school and some weekends. Some people mature faster.

i would absolutely would not interview this person, b/c i know i'd never hire them. It's so easy to be professional in email. If this person screws that up, imagine what important things they may actually screw up. No way.
