Also the routine needed for a 4 month old is different from what the routine of a 7 month old and a 9 month old.
That's true in good daycares.

But in general it would be more complex trying to balance the needs of 3 sets of parents

OP, if your nanny truly wants to do it, has the skills to manage 3 babies in different stages of development and you've considered all the logistics (equipment, stroller, car for outings, hosting house etc)

Give it a chance.

In my opinion each family should be paying no less than $ 9 per hour

Yes, you could but I doubt you would pay me to spend all my time rinsing and washing cloth diapers for three kids... PPs point is valid. The day would have to be well coordinated to protect the nanny from burn out and the nanny will know best what that entails.

I would do the cloth diapers but they'd go in a wetbag. In my opinion having a nanny share means you go without the typical extras on kid laundry and all that. A say in the schedule is fine every nanny should have a little of flexibility to work out a day , but that's different from expecting total control over everything even daycares especially infant daycares( the good ones) go by parent wishes.

OP you really won't get useful advice here he vast majority of nannies here are against caring for more than 1 child at once they simply cannot handle it.

I care for triplets and love my job. Have been with them since they were 10 weeks old.

I know one nanny in a 3 baby nanny share. I think her job is harder than mine because of the slightly different ages and developmental stages.

Some things to consider with 3 babies-

Make sure nanny as access to a car that is capable of fitting 3 rear facing car seats.

Triple strollers! There are not that many options and what is available is expensive. Some of them do not fold up or take up a huge amount of space, so keep that in mind as well. I'd look at the Valco Tri Mode Twin or Zee Two with a Joey seat. Since you will have a 9.5 month old he/she could use the Joey seat.
