Even if this is the case, your bosses have obviously taken this to the extreme, and really need to evaluate their own psychological reasons for isolating their child so much even within their own house. Their pediatrician must be aware dc isn't crawling yet, any idea what his response/advice was?

No, my charge was not a premie - he was and has always been very healthy and was developing ahead of schedule until the last few months.

The pediatrician said that all kids develop differently but I'm sure the parents did not mention that the baby is not allowed off his small blanket on the floor.

Can anyone please post a link to that thread?

It's up right now - just go to the DCUM general parenting forum and it's posted under the subject line "would you allow your children to play in a public playroom"

While I agree this is awful it is not something worth reporting as they are allowed to parent as they see fit. Now if op said the baby was locked in a cage all day long that is a different story.

Are you are parent?

You got over 90 responses from this same post on the General Parenting Forum and really good suggestions and advice!!! Good move making this a double post - the mothers really came through for you on this one with just one "You're just the nanny so shut up and do your job" post that got slammed!

Sounds like you got what you needed - and I learned a valuable lesson about double posting when I have a childcare issue.

Are you are parent?

No just a nanny who has dealt with CPS. They do nothing and if they don't believe you and feel you waste their time you can be arrested for making false claims.

I didn't report anything the mother reported the father. It didn't end well. Sad situation for the children but I can't elaborate.

Op are you being watched all day? If not, then what is your problem??? Let the kid crawl, push him/her on a swing. You are doing the majority of the damage by following their absurd rules.

Secret cameras, anyone?

What a surprise. The mothers benefiting from nanny services, are the hateful ones. Why is that?

Huh? Your post doesn't even make sense. She said there were over 90 responses from MOTHERS that were really helpful. Only 1 response that wasn't and it certainly isn't clear it was from a parent at all let alone one who employs a nanny.

Hello. Most of the helpful mothers were not the ones here on the nanny forum.

The premise is untrue. Those women on DCUM main forum may have been more helpful to this nanny in this incidence but most of them are beyond hateful. Go there now and read how a tutor with a masters degree and 20 years of teaching experience and the parents who would ever hire her are getting blasted.

And another thread where all nannies are lazy Filapino women who are on their cell phones while their charges play on the park.
