OP, I'm someone looking for a short term nanny so maybe you could find someone in your neighborhood who might need some level of summer care and help you bridge the gap a bit.
In general I agree that if you want to retain a valued nanny you should plan to keep paying/employing her. Hopefully that's a smart investment in a long-term relationship. But if that's a hardship and if your nanny is amenable (or perhaps would even prefer not to be home w/ you for 3 monhts!) then maybe there is a creative solution. |
