I'm a nanny and I would agree with the statement that most nannies are not good nannies. I would never hire about 98% of the nannies I have come across. I'm not a bitter mommy or nanny. I just know from the experiences I have had over the years with other nannies and how they have treated the children they care for, I would never hire them.

Thing is, 99% of so-called "nannies" aren't nannies at all. They're actually babysitters. That's why you expect them to do whatever to tell them to do, right? An experienced professional nanny isn't afraid to respectly share her wisdom with you. She's a keen observer of your child, and will quickly learn what your child needs for optimal development and longterm success in life.
