"ok if you think you are the best and smart show that miss .smart "
yeah....good luck, OP! PP was trying to helpfully point out to you that perhaps you are not as fluent as you think you are (which is 100% obvious from reading your title, OP, and replies). You served her snark back instead of thanks for pointing out a possible answer to your question. I'm going to go with the likelihood that the family noticed you're pretty immature and have a snappy attitude so probably made the right decision to pass on you. |
**you're. Could you tell because English is your second language as well, Poster? |

OP, based on reading this thread, I would not hire you.
I am all for hiring people who are bilingual, and in fact my nanny IS fluent in both English and French, but would not hire someone whose English is as poor as yours. I would not feel confident you would know the difference between Tspn and tsp, for example, if I needed you to give one of the children medicine. I would also not hire you because you come across as defensive and incapable of acknowledging your weaknesses gracefully, let alone at all. |

OP, your English is not up to par...I do not know how you speak, but your writing is not very good.
Perhaps you can take some English writing courses at an Adult Ed Centre for free in your area. Most families would prefer you be fluent in the English language because you will most likely be following their instructions on a daily basis as well as reading stories to their children. |
Yes - this. You don't communicate well and you sound defensive and hostile. Those are both deal-breakers for me. I don't even need to know your rate to know that I wouldn't hire you. |
