Really..Really..she's coloring and you would post...oh its not like it's a deal breaker or I would fire her..
Why even type this.. I will always say mb's are too quick with the word 'fire' Why even mention it, you could have just said you saw her coloring..the mere fact you use fire somewhere in your subsconcous you may have thought it. |
| What is wrong with this post? This is ridiculous and I feel so stupid even responding but here goes, OP take a chill pill she's occupying her mind while your son naps at least she's not sleeping or watching tv or just plain out being lazy. STOP looking for problems where there's clearly NONE. Let that lady color till her fingers fall off she's good to your kid and honest so what's the problem? Lighten up it's not that serious.... Sheesh!! |
| you do realize art is a hobby for many people? and that art and drawing is a profession for some done by adults? |
| Wow, I can't believe what a hard time OP is being given. She just thought it was weird! Obviously she's not an art person and it makes sense to think a grown adult would not want to color pictures of Dora and Aladdin or whatever. Cut her some slack - she was just surprised, that's all. |

OP Here:
After reading all of your responses, I realized I am the "weird" one here. I don't know why I thought it was unusual for an adult to color...I guess I thought only inmates in prison colored in coloring books. Anyway, I was making a mountain out of a molehill and for this to even be a micro issue is beyond me. My nanny is such a rock star that I cannot believe I posted this. Besides, I got my child a drawing easel and told the nanny she is welcome to draw on it any time she wants!

| Actually, inmates probably only color if someone from the outside buys them the supplies. I can't imagine the gov't buying that stuff. |
The prisoners themselves buy it. There are little shops in most prisons (assume it's not high security, then you don't do shit). The inmates buy it themselves, and work different jobs. It's like it's own little city...but more controlled and limited. |
