. You are giving them a 2 month notice and have not received a raise in 2.5 years? No way would I return the bonus, you've earned it! Good luck in school, you certainly don't want to do this for the rest if your life! How much was the bonus? |
$250 Also, I don't see a problem with nannying as a career choice. |
Two months is very generous notice. Its good that you're willing to be flexible with them, but I would not indicate that you will stay until they find someone else. You need to give them a target date to shoot for, or they may drag their feet. If after 2 months they haven't found someone, and they are genuinely trying, maybe offer them another 2 weeks, but don't leave the end date open. I'm speaking from experience. My MB was lovely, and I wasn't in a hurry to leave, but she really took her sweet time finding someone and became very picky about perfectly acceptable candidates more qualified than myself. |
Can yo give to me this job ,I have been looking for job 4 months already ,I can't understand this life... |
Well, it's not me who will be hiring the next nanny. Plus, I don't live in the area. |
Very small room for growth with a low annual cap, unless you are a 24 hour nanny or work for the super elite; short term jobs only, except for very rare circumstances; the profession is looked down upon; no retirement fund and rare to get healthcare. If you want to work with children long term, you'd find more stability in teaching. |
