I have nannied twenty years and some kids take longer to adjust.i have been with my current family for almost three years. The oldest was five at the time. She and I had a rough patch for the first few months. Now, we are really close and she wants me to stay until the youngest starts college?!

Be patient with your DC. Encourage him in the evenings to play with new nanny. Good luck!
