OP, just make sure you are going to be ok. While none of the jobs I mentioned above got me terminated early, there was another job where it had a different ending.

I started a job and knew very shortly after I started that it was not a good fit. But I was not in a situation where I could leave right away because it took me about five months and a move to get this job, so my savings took a big hit. I knew I was going to leave, so I made sure I put away as much as I could so I could afford to leave and move to a different city. It ended up that the bosses and I both knew I was not the right person for the job, so they let me go. While it was a little earlier than what I had planned, I had a cushion to fall back on. I also got severance and unemployment, but without my nest egg that I started beforehand, it would not have been enough until I got my next job.
Maybe give it another month or two, because you don't know what they are planning with the new baby, and then start the conversation by asking them what their plans are for when the baby is born. I've had parents that were terrified I would leave because they were having another baby, and were relieved when they found out I wasn't planning on leaving. And if they are happy with you, maybe they will try to work with your schedule.

I've been with my employer for 8 years and plan to leave and go travelling for a year starting in September. I'm giving my notice in July.
