Absolutely. And I have found terrific people, of exactly the experienced, practical, reliable, and down-to-earth mindset I like at FAR less than $25/hr (unless we're talking overtime rates of course.)

You really need to share your secrets of success with all the disgruntled MBs here.

I did - use family to family referrals.

Then you have to be a decent boss, not expect perfection, and be sane and flexible.

Sadly, I've failed at being successful at DCUM since I unwittingly responded in a two year old thread that had been resurrected for no apparent reason!

If you don't notice the continued requests on DCUM, you just aren't so bright.

Again, the numbers are old, but this is a very common strategy in NYC.
