+1

OP, your writing gives you away. Better luck next time.

You are rude and condescending. Her writing style gives her away?? That is to say what? Someone who can afford a nanny must write perfectly? Or are you insinuating that she must be a nanny because you think her uneducated?

Listen, when you've been reading this board as long as some of us have you begin to recognize certain writing styles, phrasing, unusual word choices, odd punctuation, and specific formatting that identifies some of our more prolific posters (*coughtrollscough*). This is neither rude nor condescending; I am tired of these people using up space and wasting my time reading their crap. Why not just post the question as a theoretical rather than try to convince people it's actually happening? I've done that and got great responses without any vitriol because it was just a discussion and everyone knew that no one's actual job/children were at risk.

I'll start by helping you out - I am nanny. I'm sure that you know that from my use of letters?

Now you need a hobby or something. This is online board. Go be social with something real. It's sad that you admit to being on these boards for so long. Really it's ok the air won't kill out in the outside world.

Take your own advice maybe? Or just stop being a C.

OP here:
Well this went off topic! Not sure how to convince some I am a mother employing a nanny. Maybe showing up at your homes? With my child and nanny in tow? I'm in the panhandle of Florida so hopefully you're close, though I love road trips!

I appreciate the positive answers

Who are you talking too?

Well I will answer. I am a nanny. I guess I can see how it may be weird, that your nanny knows so much about your home but you know nothing about hers. But it is just the nature of it.

I started working for a family, and 2 months later was Christmas, and they said they were going to stop by on Christmas morning to give me my gift (since they hadn't gotten one for me yet on the last day I worked before Christmas holidays). So they were just inviting themselves over Christmas morning, of all times. And I mean the parents were. Ummm, nice that they wanted to give me a gift, but too weird to invite yourselves over on that day.
