Would you be happy to help out if paid for it? Tell her she needs to pay you to be on call then. If not, then tell her that if she needs more help outside of your work hours, that she should consider getting a weekend (Fri-Sun, you work Mon-Thu right?) nanny as well.

It is the OP here. I wouldn't be willing to help out that much. I work pretty long days all week and like I said I love the kids but I do need to have a life.
