YOU need to shut up already and STOP trying to shut down everyone who has an opinion YOU don't like.

You do know that you are speaking to more than one person, right, 12:19?

Lots of people are tired of posts complaining about care.com. They don't screen or endorse the offers. They don't have to. They are basically a job board service. No one likes submarket or postings offering illegal rates. Care.com is not doing anything illegal, parents who pay wages below minimum wage are doing something illegal. Complain to them all you want, but it's silly to complain here.

This is a discussion forum, why would this not be an appropriate place to vent about on-topic frustrations?

I'm a NP, btw, and I don't use care.com because I don't have the time to wade through all those stupid/illegal job offers. I will only take jobs through word of mouth referrals or through a particular trusted, and expensive (for parents), agency. Moral of the story? Many great nannies steer clear of those affordable-for-parents sites because of how poorly they're structured/organized. It'd be in the parents' best interest for care.com to get serious about regulating the job postings (especially since they CHARGE people! it isn't just a damn bulletin board at a supermarket, they ARE making money off of this) so that they'd have more serious and professional nannies actively using the site to choose from.
