This is correct. No more than $10/hr. She is getting a very sweet deal and you will be getting additional wear and tear on your house and half the nanny's attention, if that. If she were a true professional, she'd never do this, so there is no way to tell if your child's needs will ever be as important to her as her own.

Also, don't forget to contact your insurance company to see if you need a rider to cover liability for hosting a nanny share.
