Keyboards in other countries have the keys in a different order and have different punctuation marks. It's possible she is used to a foreign keyboard and keeps hitting the comma when she's meaning to hit something else. This used to happen to me all the time when I was an au pair. It took me a good 6 months to find the dang exclamation point!!! Now I overuse them!

I know who you mean, OP. For the PPs who think this thread is unfairly picking on a non-native speaker for being a non-native speaker, her punctuation is just an odd curiosity; it's the content of her postings that likely warranted OP's inquiry.

Nannies, you need to realize that Lady Comma is hurting your profession. She repeatedly posts sweeping and intentionally inflammatory comments that paint her as a delusional nutjob, disdainful of parents who work out of the home. Most nannies truly strive to partner with parents and recognize that most people who employ nannies in this city are hard-working families who are neither uber-wealthy nor checked out of their children's lives. Why do you support her campaign to stir up so much parental disgust and distrust for nannies?

I, for one, am grateful for Lady Comma's quirky punctuation because it enables me to trace a high percentage of the ugly on this board to one sad voice who seems angry that her obvious moral superiority and tremendous expertise at "raising" other people's children hasn't earned her the riches and respect to which she feels entitled.

For those of you who aren't sure who we're talking about, here is some of her latest work:

Thanks for posting the link. The comma lady is also seen on the linked thread pretending to be a third party, defending herself. I left a comment telling her to stop sticking up for herself because it's making her look even more pathetic.
