What's the best things your employers have done for you?

Usually, MB or DB will give me a little time off (like 1/2 day) when we get back so that I can relax and unpack without jugglings kids.

My previous family wrote about me here on DCUM when I was leaving them in such glowing terms that I got 25 job offers. It wasn't just the job offers but the words they wrote; had me in tears. My first family from 12 years ago still include me at holidays, birthdays, etc. and make sure I get to see the kids as often as possible.

I am completely spoiled by my MB and DB. I get 9 weeks paid vacation time, 6 of the 9 are all expenses paid. Plus random just because thank you gifts all the time.

But the best thing they have done is chose me to become part of their family by way of nanny to their children.

My family loved the job I did with the kids so much that after they no longer needed me as a nanny they offered me a job at their business because they didn't want to lose me. They did this even though I had no previous experience in the field. I am so grateful because while I loved being a nanny, it can be so hard to get started in another field with out experience. Now I have coworkers and I'm paid more!

My nanny does this with our DD, too. We pay all the expenses since she is graciously giving up her time and TLC. She is a wonderful person and we are lucky to have her in our lives.
