OP
Just an update - I am nearly finished the book and it is coming online soon. I will let you know when and where for those interested. A big thanks to all the nannies who contributed.

I wanted to write this guide book because there is nothing out there that deals with what it's really like to be a nanny.
Most of the books seem to avoid talking about the real issues involved and are just childcare
manuals. None of them prepares girls for the realities of what happens when they are faced with
parents who have screaming matches in front of them, or what to do if they develop feelings for their
boss, or how to stop having parents add to your workload. And they definitely don't help nannies
who are dealing with the darker side of this industry.

The book looks at The Good, The Bad and The Ugly of the nanny profession.
And I have written it to be a companion for nannies while they navigate some difficult issues
in their work.

It's due out in a few months and if you want to see more you can go to:

The title is: Nanny Confidential - A Survival Guide.

The book also deals with what we can do as nannies to support those who are trafficked. Whether 'girls', 'females', or 'women' these nannies, who find themselves enslaved in Washington DC, usually reach out to other nannies for help.

So it is my intention that awareness be created around this issue and there is information in the book on what to do if one such nanny approaches you for help.

I just had a look at your book and I think it is great what you are doing. Helping
nannies is really commendable. Too many nannies are mistreated and have to
put up with too much drama.

I wish you all the best with your book. Ignore the trolls on this site. They are
everywhere and they are not very smart.

OP, have you been conducting a lot of your research here over the past couple of years?

I'm wondering if many of the "troll"threads we have seen have been your research.

Does sound interesting. What's your background with regard to your dedication to this?

Thanks OP! I'm sure will buy it because I'm Asian and work as a full time nanny here in US. I have so many funny and bad experiences but I survive

$28 for an ebook. Any formal sources? Are the profits going to charities for women who are victims of trafficking? Please tell us more about what the research conducted looked like and how you verified the veracity of the statements you were given as well.
