How to teach a toddler who doesn't seem to want to learn?

He's a kinetic learner. Teach him through movement. Cut out big circles of construction paper that are different colors, write what each color is on the corresponding circle and tape each to a different tree. You yell out "Aidan, a banana is ...?" and he will yell "Yellow!" and run to the yellow circle. Then you say, "Your eyes are ...?" and he'll yell "Blue!" and run to the blue circle. Teach in ways that expend tons of energy. He'll stay engaged longer, and kids learn more comprehensively that way anyway.
