lmao. A couple of things... Many nannies are career nannies that go to school for child development, etc. and get jobs as a career nanny. Many nannies work 12+ hour days, raising other peoples children. Nannying is NOT "that easy". Sure, some nannies are lazy but there are also lazy parents. I worked for a family where the mom was a SAHM but employed me for 50 hours a week so she could shop, nap, etc. You sound like an ignorant ass and should crawl back into your little hole you came from. |

I don't believe I could work with a lazy MB. I don't care how much $$$ she offered me. Just not worth the aggravation of putting up with someone like that. |
On the contrary, my mb and db are NOT lazy. They come home from a long day's work and still put loads of laundry in the wash, make dinner, do bath, etc. When I'm home, I am exhausted! So I know it's not easy. |
She started off by saying she wasn't a parent. BTW, you can have a good relationship with someone and think they are lazy. |
I think you are all missing the difference between being a lazy, poor performing employee and being lazy in your personal life.
Its a personal decision whether you want to be lazy in your personal life or not. If you have the money, you can also choose what you want to spend your time when you are not at your job. I like working outdoors and don't like spending time in shopping malls. I do my own yard work. I wouldn't necessarily call someone lazy if they chose to hire someone to do their yardwork and go to the mall. You may want to do nothing but sit on your couch and stare at the wall on your own time. Its your life. Gardners and nanny/housekeepers are fortunate that many people choose to outsource these activities or they would be unemployed. At work, it is a very different situation. At work you are expected to do your job and angle every moment to do less. An employee that takes every opportunity to not spend their time doing anything of value is a lazy employee. This could be the nanny watching Netflix or the office employee taking a 3 hr lunch when the boss is out of town. Its lazy and these people do not do well in the end. They often can feel entitled or rationalize their bad behavior but it catches up with you. |
