So her employers were looking through her private texts?

Stay on topic, will ya?
Who cares if the former employer was snooping and looking at a text. The past is the past and it has nothing to do with the actual story PP is telling.

I brought up things that I was unhappy about and they were unwilling to make any changes. I secretly started looking for a new job. I knew that if I had let MB know as soon as I started looking for a job she would have gone crazy on me and let me go right then and there. I was planning on giving 2 weeks notice but only after I found another position.

Well, MB somehow found out that I was looking for another job (maybe she saw that my sittercity.com profile was updated?) and she started secretly looking for a new nanny. Well, they found a new nanny before I found a new job. She came home from work one night and told me that that was my last day and that I should collect my things. I should mention that she told me she had no intentions of finding a new nanny until she found out I was looking for a new position.

Ahh, she beat you to the punch.

Ouch.. Karma's a b*tch.

OP is there a reason why you want random nannies to give you the full 411 ?? You seem like your plotting something. Lol.

I don't know, so I can avoid this family like the plague.

Why is it always the families watching out for the horrible nannies, some families are horrible too. Who protects the nannies from this violation of privacy?

She probably took a job that welcomed her child.

She actually couldn't find a job for a year. Turns out employers aren't as interested in an unemployed nanny who is asking for more than the market rate.

Employers are also not interested in a nanny who thinks it's fine to bring her kid to work.

14:30 is the forum nazi who tries to dictate what everyone is allowed to do. She keeps forgetting that this is the land of the free.
FYI, Forum Nazi, I had two medical doctors hire me to care for their child, and my own child came to work with me every day. Now give up your insanity.
