Health Insurance for nanny?

I am very impressed with the parents here, giving health insurance to your nannies, I have never been paid health insurance by my employers and I am a very good nanny, I would say I am an excellent nanny, hopefully some day I will be fully appreciated!!!!!

Have you already mentioned to your current employers that you'd like that? They most likely get it at their jobs, so they shouldn't be treating you any differently. And they'd also probably like the opportunity to maintain consistant and stable care for their children.

Let's insert a bit of reality here. Health insurance is an uncommon perk. It is also very expensive to buy a policy, more so if the nanny is not in perfect health. I think the concept of "shouldn't be treating you any differently" is complete b.s.
