I hope you left the dishes as well as her dirty underwear exactly where you found them. |
Yeah, right! |
I assume you pay her until 6, but I doubt it. If not, you are thoughtless and extremely disrespectful. |
Are you able to make it to work in time? Would you expect a nanny to be prompt? Barring extreme circumstances, this is well within your control. But you make all the excuses you need to feel better about yourself. |
How much is out of your control? Are you constantly late for your own job and appointments for these things that are out of your control? And don’t you think your poor kids are waiting for you, too? I honestly don’t understand people like you. Yes, occasionally things happen (accident on freeway, crisis at work, emergency call) but none of those things happen everyday. I am an MB and a prompt person in general. I have never been late relieving the nanny nor has nanny ever been late getting to work. We have an easy, relaxed transfer of information at the end of the day. |
Live-in nanny here. I take jobs where it really is out of my employers’ control. But I’m on call all night, in case they’re called in, and it’s the difference between having the monitor or not. |
Lol! No, that's l how it works in any hourly job. You are paid for every minute of work. Clocking out is the last thing you do. Funny how you tried to deliver a lecture about something you didn't actually know about. |
