best hand soap for dry skin

Anonymous
I feel like I've tried them all, and even have added jojoba oil to try and reduce how drying they are.

Any suggestions?

Make liquid soap using dove unscented bar soap.

Cetaphil Restoraderm Pro Wash — it’s a liquid

Soapply, a subscription soap service, is all we use at home now, and it has been great: https://soapplybox.com

With hand soap, you really do tend to get what you pay for.

The soap at my office had been awful but they recently switched to Softsoap Milk & Honey, which is actually a pretty good cheap one if you're not able/willing to pay for a higher-end true soap.

This is awesome, thanks! I already have that in our showers so going to give it a try.

You are welcome! You can wing it or you can look for youtube video for the recipe I think there are written ones online too.

A Dove bar in the bath is probably part of why you are having dryness issues though.

+1
I would think about buying a better bar of soap to start with and then making the liquid with that if you want to experiment!

I have OCD, so I am an expert. This is the only one to buy: O'Keeffe's Working Hands Moisturizing Hand Soap with Fresh Orange Oil

Why is this?

What hand cream are you using after you wash?

Most Dove soaps contain more than one ingredient that can dry your skin out:

Dove's products are usually average at best for dry skin according to my last dermatologist anyway.

I don't love the "unscented" scent or orange scent of the O'Keeffe's soap after trying them. I also still had to use a moisturizer after using O'Keeffe's and the bottle didn't look good next to my sink. I think their hand cream is quite a bit better than their soap!

Does Cetaphil make a hand soap? I just tried to find one online to order but didn't see it. Can you please drop a link if you have it?
I'm intrigued to try the Cetaphil, Soapply, and O'Keefe's (I didn't know they made more than the cream) suggestions to hopefully find one that works for me.

This is kind of random but I try to use this once a day when I wash my hands.
