best hand soap for dry skin

It doesn’t matter what soap you use. You need to moisturize immediately after while your hands are still damp.

That's rubbish. My dermo says only use the dove unscented bar.

Also, make sure you aren’t getting hands wet/dried out more than you need. I always use dish gloves when doing any dishes, even just rinsing to put them into dishwasher. Keeps your hands dry and clean. Heavy lotion and cotton gloves overnight.

I kept aloe by the sink. I use it after I wash my hands with gentle chemical free soap.

Does Cetaphil make a hand soap? I just tried to find one online to order but didn't see it. Can you please drop a link if you have it?
I'm intrigued to try the Cetaphil, Soapply, and O'Keefe's (I didn't know they made more than the cream) suggestions to hopefully find one that works for me.

PP here. A dermatologist recommended Cetaphil Restoraderm to me when I was having a big eczema flareup on my hands. It’s a very gentle cleanser that leaves my skin feeling soothed and soft. Cetaphil makes a variety of products. I usually buy Restoraderm locally at CVS.

Vanicream also makes an equally gentle cleanser and was recommended to me by another doctor:

Consider each time you wash your hands if you “need” soap or do you need to run them under water and scrub then dry with a paper towel. I only use soap when I’m worried I’ve been touching harmful bacteria.

Other than cutting back on soap get in the habit of avoiding the industrial “pink” soap or anything anti-bacterial branded found in most public restrooms. If I use those once, my hands split. It is much better for me to have intact skin from a germ theory level or a public health lens.

Currently doing ok with EO brand lavender hand soap, can buy in bulk on amazon. Thieves brand hand soap worked great for me but I prefer to not support MLM. Having a reliable soap to fall back
on is golden though.

Have found citrus oils to be drying.

Dove bar soap gave me B.O. It’s not a cleanser and doesn’t clean your body. It just builds up. It’s not even labeled as soap, the packaging calls it a moisturizing bar.

For this reason I stopped using Dove and recommend others not use it as well.

My whole family use the Dove sensitive/unscented bars. No one has an issue with body odor.

FWIW, I've also not been a fan of Dove's bars. It looks like there are several other suggestions here worth trying but I wouldn't put your $$ there.

lol lol That's a dove marketing scheme not calling it soap. It doesn't not make you stink, wash more to get your BO off of you, it's not the dove.
