My least favorite is the snarky, smug idiot (I posted this on another thread) who keeps trying to jab those who don't agree with her. She sounds extremely frustrated with her own life. She doesn't travel or get out much, and doesn't have much to add, just the same old same old. I hope we keep ignoring her. As I mentioned on the other thread, I am somehow certain her DH (if she has one) feels the same way! She sounds terribly bored and boring.
Egads, some of us actually have been out in the world and consequently have an opinion that is different than yours! Certainly you don't actually believe we should all see the world as you, through your very tiny lens? Yikes.
Let's hope that DCUM does not become known that way.
My favorite is Penguin Six - are you back yet?
Which of the gazillion snarky, smug idiots on DCUM are you referring to? How can you tell it's always this one snarky, smug idiot who is going after you?

me too! It's nice to have a different perspective on here.
I haven't read anything from her in a while? Unless I'm just not reading the same threads anymore.
I haven't either but then again, she's got 9 kids now, so she probably doesn't have the time. LOL.
I am feeling the love tonight!
Even with the 9, I have not been able to forswear DCUM completely, though I have a funny story to tell:
My husband has been very impressed with my commitment to exercise after the little one was born. I get up early, I stay up late--so dedicated, even though I hate the whole getting-back-in-shape process. Then he caught me with the iPad propped up on the elliptical, and it all made sense: DCUM time=exercise time! And the occasional nursing session, like now. Whatever works, right?!
Hard to post while doing "hill program #3" or while breastfeeding, though, so unless something really speaks to me, I don't say much...though I did give some relationship advice recently that was surprisingly well-received![]()
It is good for me to hear the different perspectives here, too--even the ones that break my heart. "Blessings are not just for the ones who kneel...luckily."
Hope everyone is enjoying a peaceful night...

A little update: things are still rocky with husband but I'm trying my best to provide a good home and environment for DD. His parents are still ultra involved with our life but I'm trying not to fight it anymore. Its just not worth it. My new strategy is to say yes and I'm sorry as much as possible. Sounds horrible but at least it keeps the peace day to day.
I love your new screen name!I am the well wisher from the other thread. I think you are stronger than you know. I will continue to root for you. I am glad so many others are as well.

Are you C9BL? I think she sounds sanctimonious and a bit detached from reality.
