I’ve seen so many famous people. The list is long. And then I’ve actually interacted with some. Big difference.

For me, it would probably be Bill Clinton. I grew up in Chappaqua and met him briefly outside a diner. He signed a copy of the NYTimes I had.
I also had a *very* brief interaction with Paul McCartney when he called out a sign I made for one of his concerts, but I don’t know if it counts. He read my sign aloud and said “very cool!” As a massive Beatles fan, it was a real thrill, though.
What about you?
Was it kisco coach diner? I’m so sad it closed. I grew up in Mt. kisco, long before the Clintons ever arrived, and the diner reference made me nostalgic.
It was Chappaqua Restaurant & Cafe. It looks like it’s since closed (I lived there in the late 90s/early 00s). My mom had just picked me up from middle school (Bell MS) and we saw him. She gave me the NYTimes that was in our car and I ran out and got his autograph. He was dressed in all denim and had a gaggle of middle-aged women following him. It was pretty hilarious.

He is very nice. Sometimes when he was in town he used to come into a coffee shop I go to. I haven't seen him there in maybe 5 years though. He was always very low key and most people didn't recognize him.Anonymous wrote:Dave Grohl.

Barack Obama is literally the most famous person in the world. All modern age US presidents are, but Obama is also enormously popular, especially abroad.
