They did the same thing in D.C. when that Capitol Hill Senate staffer was murdered. Months later it was ruled a no-fault homicide and NO ONE WAS CHARGED.

That was a fight that started inside a restaurant, got "taken outside," and escalated.
Not comparable to the Ballston circumstances at all. Keep the ALL-CAPS SHOUTING down.
who are you, the shouting police? I think the PP is suggesting that department actions in both instances were suspicious, without regard to the similarity in the crime.
DP, but I don’t think there was anything suspicious about the handling Senate Hill staffer case from what I’ve read. Drunken brawling often leads to tragic results.

That’s pretty private and sensitive information you’re looking for about a young child.
I guess my interest is more about the mother....

My friend was going to move there but telling her not to live there. Arlington has to do something about these thugs.
Lot of gang activity in NOVA. Though the police are not attributing this to gangs, still likely a good idea to avoid the area. This seems more like it's going to be some bizarre sex-related activity. And I'm an armchair detective.
WTF are you talking about? Gang activity in Ballston? Please site your sources.
This topic is proof. Violence is increasing in Arlington. I wouldn’t want to live there if this keeps up.
If this keeps up...hmmm, I believe the last one was about a year ago and was not random.![]()

Arlington is turning into what SE DC used to be. Crime is all over the place there now.
The first one is a shooting between parties with an ongoing dispute, no threat to the community.
The second one happened over a year ago, dispute between known parties, no threat to the community.
The third one is a suicide by a guy from Maryland who killed someone in Arlington over an custody dispute the victim had with the suspects affair partner, with no known threat to the community.
The fourth one happened between known parties, no threat to the community.
Further, a handful of cases with no statistics on historical trends in no way demonstrates that violent crime is increasing in Arlington, nor how violent crime rates compare to other communities.
It shows that crime is increasing over time in Arlington. It doesn’t matter how or who did what, it’s increasing and little is being done about it.
With all do respect PP, where are you from that you think ARL is like SE? All of the crimes listed above were not random.
