Looks like regular spandex shorts under a uniform. My daughter’s worn them for a few years.
They also make teen/tween undies.

Thanks for the links. Great for school days, but these come in black, pink stripes, gray, maroon and royal blue - none of those will work under light colored shorts.

Oh my god lady. No.
1) how often is there a bathroom with a sink RIGHT NEXT TO THE FIELD? Where a player can just quickly duck in, wash hands, change tampon, wash hands, and get right back on the field in less than 2 minutes?
2) you have to get to the field early to warm up. I've had times when my super plus tampon barely lasted 30 minutes. Not often, but it's happened. So include travel time from home, war mup time, and now before the game has started it's been 2 hours since I've had a good bathroom nearby.
3) yes pads sucks! The bunch up and don't stay in place which leads to what? LEAKS.
Realize that your barely-there flow of essentially spotting is not the reality for many women and girls.
Don't be obtuse. Thousands of girls have figured out how to wear a tampon during soccer games. Don't act like it's some impossible task.

For every girl -- every ten girls, or twenty -- who have figured it out, some DON'T.
Seriously read this thread, it's illuminating: https://www.dcurbanmom.com/jforum/posts/list/828732.page
No girls' team that had the choice between dark or light shorts would ever choice white or light-colored shorts.
It is known.
I’ve had three girls play soccer over the last decade plus and no parents or girls on any of their teams raised an issue with white shorts as part of the uniform kits. And I managed several teams, so I’d know if there were concerns. Mostly we preferred the white or light ones to dark because they were much less hot for the girls in the spring and summer.
It seems like an overreaction to me to call for bans of white shorts, but hopefully this thread and the other will serve as a reminder to families to be prepared just in case with thinx and pads tampons and extra shorts. If you have a very heavy flow and no supplies with you, black shorts aren’t going to be much better—you’ll definitely end up with a mix of blood and sweat on your legs.

Sure but you also sweat.
I've only seen it in black or patterns. Nothing one could wear under white shorts.
It comes in nude colors, or at least the adult version does. But wouldn't it be easier just to have dark shorts and let each girl deal with menstruation the way she is most comfortable?

In the very unlikely event that a girl unexpectedly has a bleed through with a white uniform, hopefully it could easily be handled by a quick mention during a substitution. Seems like the odds of white shorts causing embarrassment would be minuscule.
You must have a light or moderate flow. As a teen, I could overflow a super tampon in an hour, and a super pad in another hour. Even doubling up a pad and a tampon, I would have been pushing it to make it through warmup and the game. Thank goodness for the Mirena.
