Frequent compliments, especially about personality, or how I handle things. Offers emotional support that goes beyond what’s typical for a platonic relationship. Prolonged eye contact or a certain intensity in how he looks at me.
That's not romantic.thats inappropriate.
This guy you are crushing on flirts with other women, is open to cheating and does that all in front of his kid
So wonderful![]()
Yeah, he’s a little messy, flirting, chaos, dad life….but I don’t know… maybe I like living on the wild side. Red flags? Babe, I see a carnival. 🎪 And let’s be real—if he flirts this good in public, imagine the private show. 😏
You sound lime a hot mess. Are you 16?

If he flirts with you in public he is flirting with other women as well. Guys like this cannot help it.

Honestly, most husbands stop trying to please their wives when they realize it’s impossible. The woman he fell in love with was a character she wants to be instead of the woman she really is inside.

There is nothing a married man does with another married woman that can be considered "romantic". NOTHING!
It's all disgusting and unattractive and careless. The fact that OP considers what he's doing with/to her romantic tells us way too much about OP, and none of it is good.
You are very close to ruining the entire lives of a bunch of innocent kids, 2 unaware spouses, and whether you see it now or not, you're going to ruin your and your crush's lives too.
You should stop texting, stop talking and never be alone with him. No dropping off you kid if he might answer the door. If your kid's friend is coming over, your DH can answer the door.
I would also start building up my kid's other friendships and activities and over time fade away from this family.
