I don't know but some of these moms may be horny, unhappy, lonely I have no idea. I coach both boys and girls soccer and the flirting sometimes right in from their husbands who are clueless is stunning. They don't care that you are married. Maybe they want the attention, but it's crazy to me because even when you ignore it they keep going as if they get some kind of dopamine out of it. I use my wife's number to communicate with the parents because most are women. Of course it's not all moms but it's as high as 3 out of every 10 moms. If you are married you have no business flirting with another married man or seeking his attention because you are probably wasting your time. Yes we men can be stupid, but most of us aren't going to do anything with you especially when we know your husband.

There was a married dude with kids who was very attractive but would stare at me intently without looking away on multiple occasions. While I found him attractive, it made me uncomfortable - I would hate it if my DH looked at another woman like that. That fizzled any attraction I had pretty quick. If this married dude is crossing any kind of lines with you - sounds extremely shady to me and that you should stay away.

You are very close to ruining the entire lives of a bunch of innocent kids, 2 unaware spouses, and whether you see it now or not, you're going to ruin your and your crush's lives too.
You should stop texting, stop talking and never be alone with him. No dropping off you kid if he might answer the door. If your kid's friend is coming over, your DH can answer the door.
I would also start building up my kid's other friendships and activities and over time fade away from this family.
+1. Anytime I’ve felt that I actively did things so as not to put my self alone with someone. I brought up their wife in conversation, etc.
Everyone with a pulse gets crushes. Yes- even those happily married. It’s how you act that shows your character, I.e., respect ring bother people’s marriages and your own!
