Hello? Best thread ever!
Totally agree! I am glad I have not shown up![]()
I was kind of hoping to have shown up!

I point this out because she uses the mom of 5 title as a bit of a cudgel and definitely as a measuring stick, but she is really a mom of 3 who married a dad of 2, and together they have 5.
I think there are (somewhat oddly) two moms of 5 who frequently post the fact that they have five kids on DCUM.
One is the biological mother if all five kids, still lives in the DC area (in NoVA) & has not worked outside the ho.e since her oldest was born.
The other is the stepmother of some of the kids, was a SAHM for several years but returned to work when her youngest was in middle school, & used to live in the DC area but has since moved to Florida (& stopped WOH due to the move).
Both have grown/almost grown children who apparently were never allowed to behave as horribly as most DCUM posters' kids are allowed to behave.

I just keep trying to imagine her son telling his wife she's not allowed to eat dinner on Christmas because his mom will have a fit if she finds a fingerprint on the stainless fridge. I really wish she would do an AMA because I have so many questions!
Link, please! I’m dying.

I can have 15 awesome dishes for my Thanksgiving line-up, and he’s after me about the damn casseroles.
I am not that person but I hate when I post our menus and I'm told it is "old fashioned". We like very traditional foods on Thanksgiving. If we're happy with it then I don't see what the problem is.
PP here and I agree! If creamed onions and rutabaga are your thing, go for it. We see enough fancy stuff at restaurants. Jiffy corn casserole is not on a restaurant menu, sadly!

ugh, she was so hostile that I prayed it was a troll. "my kitchen, my rules" kind of crap. "There's a 7-11 down the street".
The tirade starts a few pages back perhaps but the whole thread was a gem.

YES. She is always told that she won't have enough food, then she rejects adding any additional food, then posts a couple months later about how she didn't have enough food at the party and what to do. FEED YOUR DAMN GUESTS, LADY.
