I'm worse than the parents who are so anxious that their kids absorb that and become anxious themselves? Please. My kids are loved, nurtured, and happy.

I agree with you PP. Outside of neglect, I think an anxious mom raising anxious kids is way worse than a lot of things. It's teaching children a way of being that will

NP here. I disagree that simply being anxious is worse than having never wanted your kids. Not “I didn’t want them at first but I love them so much now”, but “I didn’t want kids and still feel that way and I mention it at every possible opportunity on DCUM”.

+1 million. Super weird. That lady makes me really uncomfortable, it's like she takes weird glee in (REPEATEDLY.) telling us how much she didn't want her kids and only had them to keep her husband.

I think the hospice pastor is awesome. Very kind and helpful.

There is a poster in the relationship forum who, no matter how abusive or dangerous a mentally ill spouse is, will pop up and say something like "I feel sorry for your spouse. What about in sickness and in health?"

The OP can say something like "My husband has killed my cat and threatens to kill me. He has bipolar disorder." And that poster will respond "Your poor husband! What about in sickness and in health? You are a terrible person."

It's distinctive because it's always that question about in sickness and in health. I have wondered what that poster would say if the original poster left off any reference to mental illness.
