Of course, this is all true. It's just hypocritical how more of the posts are saying to go for it, ignore the posts, etc. and they probably wouldn't be so generous if it were a single mom posting.


It's not "hypocritical," it's paying attention the numbers. If someone has flu-like symptoms in West Africa, the chance of Ebola would be non-negligible and caution woudl be advised. If someone has flu-like sypmptoms in the US, they probably have the flu.

Why is it unreasonable for women to be more cautious when dating? Women are generally less strong physically, and therefore more vulnerable.

The overwhelming majority of rapists, murderers, and child molesters are men.

I'd still say OP shouldn't go out with the woman again, but I don't think there's anything with being even MORE cautious if he were a woman and the date was a man.

There was a thread on here awhile back. A woman said a man she was dating turned up on one of these sites. I posted the exact same thing then as I did today -- it could be some jerk lying because he or she has an axe to grind. I wouldn't put a lot of stock into these sites.

I'm trying to find it but can't. I tried Googling DC Urban Mom dontdatehimgirl.com (I'm pretty sure that was the site) but it's not coming up.


Were commenters saying she should give him a chance too? Did she post what she decided she would do?

Now you have gone and done it..you are going to get called a Men's Rights Activist and a scumbag. No one cares about the men...don't you get it? It is women that matter, only women. You know a woman could never do wrong, so obviously she was set up by an angry man if there is something written that might put her in a bad light. And if she did cheat, a man made her do it. He didn't do enough dishes so what other choice did she have? You should feel badly for her that he made her cheat.


Men have any right to emotional security when they date? Thought they were supposed to give any woman who looks their way a chance and treat her like a queen.... Don't believe those sites, dear, they're only truthful when it comes to the men who are being exposed.
