Eh, I like to cook. It’s a basic life skill and gives you more control over what you eat.

I've done similar when I was at my worst. I wouldn't do it now. But I didn't washed the cast iron pan real well after cooking meat ... vegetarians in the household would be VERY upset. Passive aggressive?

My husband over the years has developed a pretty intense intolerance to tomatoes (heartburn) so I have had to rethink a lot of the cooking I do. I often adjust or make two versions. But if it was just preference and not a medical issue, I don't know if I would be so accommodating.
