The fact that nylons even entered your thought process means you're old and unfashionable. So yes, they probably looked appropriate on you.


DP here. Why so nasty to the PP with teal sandals? Another poster had mentioned nylons. Free your mind and believe that different people can wear different things and still look good

OP here and ballet flat cause me a lot of pain. Squishing my toes seems to be the culprit…throws off my whole body. and any “barefoot” shoe with space for my toes doesn’t have support.

Another size 11 here! I've had a lot of luck with Sorel & Reef sandals lately. Naturalizer also has a great size range of sizes and width. I've also had my eye on some Converse mary Jane's lately too. Not sandals, but cute & probably comfy

Have you tried Rothy's? They have a ton of options now and I find them extremely comfortable, durable, and love that they are washable.

Ballet flats KILL my back and knees. I wore a pair of ballet flats to open house 3 days ago and my knees are still screaming at me. I have a very wide foot I think squishing my toes together throws off my whole system.
