It's rude and it's disgusting. Nobody should be blowing their nose at any dining table or eating establishment. 🤮
People have fallible human bodies. They may have an allergic reaction to someone else's perfume, an overzealous pepper-wielding server, or any number of things. This may cause the need to blow one's nose in a restaurant.

DCUM is like 90% middle class people who made some money and now believe (or at least want you to believe) they're the pinnacle of society because they live in a $2MM AU Park house that would cost $300K anywhere else. Of course they're going to tell you they're too classy to ever consider doing something as gauche as blow their nose in a restaurant. Meanwhile in real life their snot nosed little monsters are running wild putting their grubby mitts on everything in sight at 2Amys while they scroll their iPhones and sip their chardonnay.

I think I've done it though after a horrible sneezing fit when I didn't want to walk through the restaurant to the bathroom with snot hanging out of my nose.
I guess our grandparents' habit of carrying handkerchiefs made some sense? Gross as it was?
