My life did not stop when my father died, nor when my brother was serving in Iraq and Afghanistan.
I've suggested therapy for DW, and basically got a f**k off.

Sorry the invasion of your wife’s home country is interfering with her playing cruise director to the rest of family and you’re not having to get off your ass and actually parent.
Link to his other posts? I decided he was a jerk just based on this one though!

Thanks. Though, just read he claims that is not him?
OP here. My DW does not volunteer for anything. Sorry. But you are wrong.

DW needs psychological help. Yes, her family members in Ukraine are under fire and she worries about them, but that does but give her the right to kick it ge metaphorical dog. I had simply wanted to get BBQ for my birthday abs she freaked out about “how can I think about celebrating” in a war. Well, Ukraine is not the only war - look at the suffering in Yemen or Ethiopia. They are my getting the sympathy the Western news coverage gets, so we could celebrate your birthday? I’ll let that go now, but she stepped over the line when she told me “I hope your b***tch mother dies soon. I’ll be sure to dance on her grave.” I no longer have any compassion for her.

I agree. It just shows that most of these posters are just as vile and self absorbed to think it is ok. Posters also seem to bypassed that OPs wife was able to celebrate while war and suffering occurs in other countries, but everyone should stop because Ukrainians are at war.

“Would you please stop thinking about your loved ones who could be slaughtered in the streets and just get me some BBQ?”

He already said he didn’t care if her family died, so I’d call them even.
And his mother probably said something to warrant the comment anyway.
