Everyone knows that the benchwarmers have no chance at D1 schools, and they aren’t getting any better riding the pine.
Best to go somewhere and start against the players they can’t unseat, especially at the younger ages when it will help them develop.
The arguer must have been sold a bill of goods by Bobby and company and it’s sad that they have accepted their position of being a subsidy for the starting players who will go on to succeed.

How about the fact that 6 months of 3 times a week training in ECNL with players that aren't as strong vs. 10 months of training 4 times a week with stronger players? Which players are getting better?
The numbers are there for all to see. Career sub is a career sub. Just what every top D1 program is looking for.
Yes, the numbers are there but you don't want to look at them.

Yeah it seems at Penn Fusion for the class of 2020 after the starting 11 you are talking about a few FIU, Lehigh and Lafayette type D1s and then D2s and D3s.
Exactly. Lafayette is ranked 273 among D1 women's soccer programs. I'm not going to belittle the program or school but I will say that the likelihood of a player making that school as a starter at another club versus being a bench player would have probably been more fun and on top of it, could have resulted in perhaps a "better" soccer program.
In truth, where a kid end up in college is a completely different decision matrix than how good a sport program is. I'm just saying that if this kid was in a similar situation at FCV I fail to see how another local club could not have gotten the same player in Lafayette.

You’re a special kind of jerk. The special kind that insults children to feel better about themselves. You must be a joy to your team’s other parents. Just pathetic.
I’m just saying she must really enjoy it. You and her chose to be at a place where she is a sub. How can that possibly be an insult if she loves it as much as you claim?
The training must really be amazing and fun to enjoy watching their teammates play in the games.
why do you feel the need to keep going at him? How does what his kid do affect you in any way? Its pathetic man. It really is.
What team and what age does your kid play at?
That is flatly wrong. My original comment was player 15 at a top GDA club (FCV is as close to that as exists in our area) was going to get more attention than player 5 on an ECNL team. That is the truth at ages U15 and younger and only a few exceptions at the older ages.
