Self promoting and rarely shows up for work. Really, she’s out all the time and when she is there, she comes in late. She will smile on your face while throwing you under the bus. Staff were constantly going the EFR about her not meeting MCEA contractual obligations. Oh and as for experience, I think she’s only been an AP for two years. She won’t survive at Wootton.Anonymous wrote:Anonymous wrote:Unfortunately not. They are getting one from Magruder who is awful. Who? Why?
Totally agree. Sorry, Wootton.
Just got some dirt that Seyoum was seen in the school building at Magruder late in the evening packing up her office and a teacher asked what was going on and she just laughed. It was obvious she was leaving, but no one was saying anything. It makes you wonder if she put in for a transfer and Ascienzo (Magruder principal) didn't know anything until the last minute because that position is technically still empty at Magruder (new AP starts on 9/15).

You’re joking, right?

Did alleged racist incidents or handling of the alleged incidents contribut to them leaving?: https://www.dcurbanmom.com/jforum/posts/list/1244355.page.
Or did they leave this year knowing Crown and Woodward boundary changes which will be announced next year will change Wootton student demographics?

Anonymous wrote:The acting assistant principal involved left abruptly midyear, just like Doug Nelson. That was unusual as well. A retired principal came in to fill her slot for the rest of the year.
Anonymous wrote:Wootton has been postponed for renovation repeatedly. Boundaries are going to be re-drawn when Crown and Woodward high schools are opened. The superintendent wants to create six zones around the county so there is “equitable” programming. All of that leads to uncertainty. Teachers like to know where they will be teaching, what they will be teaching, and who they will be teaching. All of that is up in the air right now.

Racist word printer incident? Did students approach their counselors when that happened and did those same counselors and/or administrators do nothing?
