What neighborhood? My neighborhood is constantly getting streets improved - to the point people complain. But its also on a major thoroughfare.

I am a NP but there is a missing crosswalk at 15th and I believe S Street- so one or two blocks from everything that happened on Swann street. I put in a request for a new crosswalk and it said it would take 270 business days to fix- so over a year. This is a pretty major pedestrian route and because there is no crosswalk cars block where the crosswalk should be and people have to walk in the street to get around them.

By the way I support this move by Bowser (although I agree it is only a step in the right direction) but I admit my second though on seeing this was "wow that must have been the fastest that DDOT has ever worked"

That is totally unrelated to (and higher priority than) your crosswalk complaint.

If you want the crosswalks repainted? Contact your ANC reps, councilmembers, etc.
