Does Burning tree even count?

And I heard someone on here saying that they drove through burning tree and saw a bunch of old men playing golf with their shirts off. Not exactly top quality country club material to me

but you won;t see any women there doing that.

It would be more interesting if they did.

Well I'd like that if they did. And they were young. And fit. Wait . . . Such a place does not really exist does it.

You are gross.

CCC isn't as tough to get into as PP implied. However, it's tougher than the other two, both of which pretty much admit anyone who can afford the initiation fees.

x2. It's definitely Chevy.

Burning tree is a golf club, not a CC. Huge difference.

Chevy Chase but you have to know someone pretty high up to sponsor you. Token minorities. Primarily legacy. Nouveaux riche not CC membership quality.

Exactly. I think of burning tree more as a men's golf club, not a country club. I dont think it qualifies as being in the elite anymore, it's been left behind. I wouldnt even put it in top 5.

it has not been left behind it is awesome there. jsut not like other clubs that don't haev the _______to say go ahead take away our tax breaks, go ahead take away our liquor license, we will be just fine.

SO you're a member? And clearly biased and just wanting your club to be number 1?

Could care less where it ranks becasue you can't get in and most others can't

True. And you don't apply to join. Ever. THEY ask you.

You're assuming that anyone would want to join a club where people are allowed to play golf shirtless. Wrongly, I might add.
