I really do not understand people. This is not a political issue.
We'll be getting COVID boosters for the rest of our lives, but it's time to take the masks off. And let students go to high school basketball games. Oh, wait, that restriction was also based on behavior problems caused by either being isolated for so long or listening to all the "adults" around them siloing themselves with like-minded people and cancelling any one who doesn't agree with them instead of engaging in productive dialogue and altering their thinking to match new data.
I really don't understand people.

Right? Look what they are trying to do! https://www.dcurbanmom.com/jforum/posts/list/1034708.page
Just give it time people. We need to be patient with our brethren on the left. The lemmings are coming around and each day their blue check-mark leaders are starting to bend the narrative toward the truth. The truth about masks being useless, the source of the virus being a US funded lab in China, that healthy children have no need to be vaccinated for Covid 19, and even today Hopkins says that lockdown policies were ineffective. (https://www.foxnews.com/media/johns-hopkins-university-study-lockdowns-media-blackout) It will all come out in time and, when it comes down to it, the source of all of this push back is that our friends and neighbors, who are just uninformed good people, are worried they did the wrong thing by vaccinating their children with an experimental drug, and they are praying, like we all are, that it wasn't a mistake. Give them time.
