We do have some parents at our school that do not want any children to bring things their child can't have but this is just crazy. And many doctors send in notes saying there is no medical reason the child can't have it but mom doesn't want them to have certain things. The school should not be expected to police lunchboxes.
Your note is too rational for OP and this entire thread! Which is why it's been ignored.
Not the OP here. Some of us have to work- we don't have the option of keeping our children home, as much as we might like to.

Nah, not me. BTW I'm not the PP you're quoting either, even though she has some valid points.
But, CL, you do have thalessemia, too, right? And, a DD the same age? That is why I thought for sure OP was you.

This is you, right? Psoriasis and # of kids are right. I know you suffer from psoriasis which I think must be really awful. (I learned that in the Unpaid Vacation thread) I'm sorry about that. In this thread it says you recently found out you have thalessemia, too Hmm, but no mention of gluten sensitivity. (I also have PCOS and we are having trouble conceiving #2)

This thread you already claimed. You have said that your DD is starting a new Montessori school, in a 2-year-old class. You also talk about the somewhat rare system of the teachers coming to get the kids from their carseats.

Is this you? It is another Montessori with the pick-up/drop-off carpool line. Same age. You said that your DD had a gluten and milk protein allergy in it.
I just though with the writing style and all the coincidences this thread was yours.

Why do people assume that if she talks to them she is going to go in with guns blazing? Nothing in her original post or even subsequent posts indicate that she is going to be crazy.

Darn it.
Should I talk to them in person or write an email? I'm so upset!
OP, I would consider removing your DD from preschool. Honestly, if she is this allergic, then she is probably too young to go. I would keep her home until she understands that she can't eat food items that you haven't given her.
Hope she feels better.

There are food allergies and sensitivities that can KILL a child with no further warning. Just because this is not the case, it does not mean that "teachers can only do so much" is an acceptable answer. If a child dies, age, how busy teachers are or whatever is not an excuse. In this situation a little kid is not only hurting, but really sick and will take weeks to recover. Not to mention that this scenario happening often could have tragic outcomes for her future.
And all you people can do is to say this woman is overreacting? You bunch of assholes.
Who said anything about the poor kid? The OP is the same person who routinely posts a sympathetic post, and then as it unwinds it becomes increasingly clear that her primary concern is not about whatever the issue is, it is about her perceiving herself as being disrespected in some way. Then she starts criticizing anyone who disagrees with her. I just hope, for the sake of her daughter, that she's not as egocentric in real life. Doubt it.
Carry on.

+1,001. Chiptle Lady is crazy. I hope she is not this way in real life for her children's sake.
HAHA - np here. The funniest thing to me is that you callous and mean people automatically think that anyone who continues to call you out without backing down or giving up just HAS to be Chipotle lady. Read the thread - people IMMEDIATELY started calling her names. I see her being called overly dramatic, a preschool teacher's nightmare, . She called them out. OH - MUST be Chipotle lady!
Well, you really are Chipotle Lady. You have a distinct writing style and unfortunately you overshare so you are easy to spot. It would not be a problem but you are constantly stirring things up. You hate being called out and never stop coming back to your threads to argue. Seriously, how is that you are able to come back to this thread all day long? I would think you have no children if it were not that I know more about your two kids than most of my family members!
Haha - you are hysterical. I ASSURE you I am not Chipotle lady and this is my first post on here. I read it a few times today because I suspect I have gluten intolerance and was vaguely interested in the topic. You, however, are quite paranoid - you might want to get that checked out!
For those of you keeping score at home, it is the OP who is Chipotle Lady. The OP.
