There aren't really best schools per se there are schools that fewer FARMS and ESOL students so their overall test score averages are higher but the same student would do as well at any school so the best advice I can offer is to live wherever is most convenient.

That is silly. One shouldn’t be intimidated by money. And plenty of middle income families in every school.
If one is wealthy, one shouldn't assume that less wealthy people are intimidated by one's money.
Also, the median household income in Montgomery County is about $110,000, so I'm guessing that there aren't plenty of actually middle-income families in every school in Bethesda(ish).
PP here and that was my response to the top poster, assuming someone is intimidated. So I think we are on the same side of the argument.

The rich in some areas are really rich. My block of 1.4 million homes is called “the hood”, we are lower class folks watching our pennies. I say 200k-600k a year is average income in block. Some areas folks make 200k a week and live in 7 million dollar homes
But, there are not schools in MCPS where that is even close to the norm. Your one small neighborhood is a tiny portion of whatever school you are zoned for.

It is also important to note the tremendous outpouring against these incidents. If you walk by Whitman today, the place is still covered with "hate has now home here" and other similar signs, even though school hasn't been in session there for nearly a year.
