Haven't watched it but I wonder if it goes into the ACTUAL details of what Chris Watts did and why?

Yep, I think he killed her during or after the sex.

Did they have sex when she came home from the business trip?

I think she’s wearing shoes when he carried out her body, so my thought would be no.

Why would she be wearing shoes in bed at 3AM? That’s when she got back to the business trip.

I can’t imagine they had sex either - she was pregnant, just off a uncomfortable flight and he’d been dealing with the kids all alone for two days.

That was a horrifying documentary and very well done. To 23:43, stop the victim blaming. Who cares if she’d been controlling? The choices are myriad and should not include murdering your wife first & then your baby girls over an hour later at an oil field. Have you no shame?

Shanann didn’t deserve to die, but she was a completely controlling wife. Chris didn’t even have access to his own money. I think he broke down after shanann confronted him with the cheating and threatened to keep the girls from him.
It sounded like Chris was super close to his family before shanann. He probably resented her for putting a wedge between him and his parents .

I really hope this is not true

This makes sense to me because the slow drip drip drip of facts he revealed shows that he kept lying to try to make himself not seem SO awful. Like admitting he killed Shannan but denying he killed his kids at first.

Driving for an HOUR with Shannan's corpse in the car and the kids curled up in the back seat. He had plenty of time to change his mind.

As a divorced mom of two girls, this hit me hard.

I would like to have him and Scott Petersen explain to us why they'd rather commit stupid murders where they go to jail forever than just get a divorce.

Money.

Simple as that. He'd already declared bankruptcy once with Shanann. His credit was wrecked. To pay child support for 15-18 years on top of that for three kids?

Nickole Atkinson, Shanann's BFF and the woman who alerted authorities of her disappearance in the trailer has breast cancer. She posts about it on Youtube. I'm sure Shanann would have supported her through it had she still been alive.
