Read on the Senior High Alliance of Parents, Principals and Educators (S.H.A.P.P.E.) minutes that this was a potential possibility as budget cuts combined with LEAP costs put budget in range of 1 million in actuality. Can google and read the minutes but it doesn't mention being a neighborhood school, whatever that means! Hopefully someone who has more information can enlighten us
Wilson enrollment is down (slightly). And fewer at risk students (both economically disadvantaged and students with IEPs). That would reduce the school's funding even without the LEAP costs.
