We just finished streaming the OC - it was a perfect pre-bed show; there are a lot of episodes, it was an hour instead of half an hour so enough to get me to bed and take me into falling asleep. It was engaging enough to keep my interest but not so engaging that I couldn't fall asleep.
Other pre-bed shows that I've enjoyed: Gilmore Girls, Parenthood, Monk, Psych, White Collar, Revenge. All of them have that similar rhythm, I think. Lots of episodes, not much yelling/noise, pleasant and engaging without being too tense or exciting. Great to fall asleep to, night after night.
What should we stream next?
